Safe Arrivals

Morning Arrival

Students may begin arriving on our supervised field by bus, vehicle (Kiss and Ride) or on foot starting at 8:15 am.  Entry bell rings at 8:45 am.

 

Reporting a Student Absent/Late

If your child will be late or absent, please call the school at 807-737-1121 and leave a message in the Safe Arrivals Mailbox.   Text Messages can be sent to 807-738-0667. 

Absences can also be entered using the School Messenger App.

Please indicate:

• Your child’s name and grade
• Your name
• How long your child will be absent/late
• Reason for the absence/late

Safe Welcome

All visitors must use the Doorbell/Intercom at the front door to be admitted to the school.  Visitors must check in at the office.  Any student entering/leaving the school during school hours must sign in/out (arriving late, leaving for an appointment etc.)

 

Student Information for Emergencies, Illness, and/or Early Dismissal

To keep our files accurate, we are requesting that you ensure we have current contact information for all contacts listed for your children.  This includes home phone numbers, work numbers, and cell numbers.  If you are required to pick up your child early, we ask that you do so before 2:40 pm. Otherwise, please use the Kiss and Ride program.

 

Please Remember:  If your child’s bus is cancelled and they are driven to school, you must make arrangements for your child to be picked up at the end of the day.
